Willkommen to Oktoberfest!  To celebrate Fall, The “Cove Connector” & Crafty Girls of SGC would like to invite you to join them on Saturday, October 10th at the South Gulf Cove Pavilion; 14859 Ingraham Blvd.

The day will begin at 10AM with the Crafty Girls annual craft sale filled with handmade gifts and much more.  Call Irma at 697-1772 or Fran at 697-9363 for more information and to become a vendor.

Entries into the decorated pumpkin contest including an adult and children under 12 categories, will take place until 11AM for a $5 entry fee.  Judging will take place at 12:00 with prizes awarded during dinner. Let’s get some competition going between the organizations within SGC.

At 10AM put your walking shoes on and join us for a 2 mile Health walk/pet walk.  Contact Gwen Ketner or Cherie LaFlamme at 697-8598 to join.

For you bakers, at 12PM, for $5, enter your favorite pie in the pie baking contest. See back of flyer for rules and entry form. Prizes include beautiful hand-crafted items.     Call Lynn Lawrence at 698-1066 for more information or to enter. After the contest, the remaining pies will be sold for $1/slice.  

At 1:30, come join our lawn game competition.   Who will be the lawn game champs of SGC?  There will be a $5.00 entry fee per team and a great first prize will be awarded.  Call Richard Murgia at 697-9965 or Brad Gratz at 697-3083 for more information and to register your 2 person team.

At 5PM, join us for our authentic German dinner including sauerkraut, bratwurst (plus a vegetarian alternative), German potatoes salad, apple strudel and, of course, apple cider, beer and wine all for $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12.  Call Maria at 698-9674 or April at 697-8112 for tickets.  Enjoy hot dogs, pop corn, caramel apples sold throughout the day. 

 

Cove Connector Fall Brunch

Autumn is here and what better way to celebrate then to attend the “Cove Connector”  Fall Brunch on Sunday, Nov. 1st from 10:00AM to 1:00PM at the South Gulf Cove Pavilion: 14859 Ingraham Blvd. 

Our homemade brunch, including a Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar, is only $12.00 for adults and $4.00 for children age 12 and under.  RSVP for tickets by calling April at 941-697-8112 or Maria at 941-698-9674.

Much gratitude goes out to our on-site vendors including: SGC Crafty Girls, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, Inner Beauty Med Spa/Englewood, Barry Lawrence/Interior Solutions, Lynn Lawrence Baskets, Granny Nannies Home Health Care, Pat Gratz/Arbonne, Yoga Sanctuary, Curves/Gulf Cove, Zumba with Carla Perlata & “Rainforest Blues” author, Maria Miller.  We welcome our newest vendor, Debi & Jim Benson, Paradise Cove Properties, who have offered to give Cove Connector $100 for each home they sell in 2009.  Call Fran Wagner at 941-697-9363 if you would like to be a vendor.

 

COVE CONNECTOR FAMILY TREE EXTENDED OFFER

Stage 1, Personal, and 2, Community, of the FAMILY TREE program have been completed as well as 8 beautiful Royal Palms,  1 Queen Palm & 3 Oaks were planted and can be viewed at the HOA Pavilion.

Community Family Trees can still be purchased for a tax deductible price of $175 each.  Purchasing 1 Family Tree allows you to purchase any number of personal trees for your own use for the same price.  Those of you, who have already purchased a Family Tree, can also still purchase additional trees for your own use for $175.

Cove Connector is a project of the CCT of South Gulf Cove. Brunch proceeds and vendor donations will be utilized for future South Gulf Cove beautification, park development and bike/pedestrian pathways.
